On September 11, 2001, 343 FDNY firefighters answered the call and never returned home. Our distance transforms their number into a moving tribute: 3.43 miles walked or run together.
This is more than a race. It is a promise to carry forward their courage, honor their sacrifice, and make sure a new generation understands why we never forget.
